Download Instagram Stories without a login
Paste a public story link, or a @username for that account’s story tray. Private and close-friends stories stay locked.
Save a public story while the frame is still up
Instagram removes a story from the public file after about 24 hours. A pinned highlight is not fetched as a separate album. Paste the full public story link.
No login
A public resolve does not use your Instagram account, so it does not add you to that story’s viewer list.
The public file
The download is the story frame Instagram returned. It is not upscaled, and a separate MP3 is not split out.
Private stories stay locked
Close-friends and private stories are rejected. This page does not log in or bypass an account.
How to download Instagram stories
Paste a public link, preview the frames, then save the file.
Copy the story link
On a public story, copy the link with the username and the numeric id. A handle alone asks for that account’s public tray.
Paste and fetch
Paste it above and press Fetch Stories. The resolver returns the public frames Instagram still exposes.
Save each frame
Download a video or image on its own. Download All as ZIP is still being wired, so save frames one at a time for now.
Frequently asked questions
Story expiration, private accounts, and audio.
Will the user see that I watched their Story?
No Instagram login is used, so this does not add your account to the viewer list. It does not hide your network from Instagram’s CDN.
Can I download Stories from Private profiles?
No. Private and close-friends stories stay locked. InstagramFetch does not log in or bypass them.
What happens after 24 hours when a Story expires?
When Instagram removes the public file, the resolve stops returning it. A pinned highlight is not unpacked as a separate album. Paste the full public story link while the frame is still up.
Are downloaded story videos saved with audio?
A video download is the public file Instagram returned. If that file has an audio track, it stays in the video. A separate MP3 is not extracted here.
Ready to save a public story?
Reels, carousels, and photos stay on their own pages.
