I'm Rajiv and I built InstagramFetch, so it's on the list. There are no star ratings here. For other tools I've kept to broad categories, so check their sites for current limits.
In short: use a browser-based tool, never give out your Instagram password, and don't believe anyone promising 4K from a normal Reel.
What to check
- Does it ask for your Instagram login? It shouldn't for public posts.
- Is it browser-based, or does it push an app or extension?
- Which formats does it support: video, photo, carousel, Stories, audio?
- Does it add a watermark?
- Are the ads or pop-ups aggressive enough to be risky?

InstagramFetch
Paste a link, download. We cover all the main Instagram formats in one place and have device guides for iPhone, Android and PC. Private posts won't work.
SnapInsta and FastDL
Our side-by-side notes: vs SnapInsta, vs FastDL.
SaveFrom and iGram-style tools
SaveFrom handles many sites besides Instagram. iGram and similar tools focus on Instagram. Both styles work the same way: paste a link, get a file.
