How to download Instagram highlights

Copy a public highlight or story link

Open a public highlight or story frame and copy the link. Prefer /stories/highlights/… or /stories/username/id/. A bare @username belongs on Stories.

Paste and fetch

Save each frame

Download a video or image on its own. Full highlight albums may not build as one archive — save frames one at a time when ZIP is unavailable.

Can I download a full Instagram highlight album?

Sometimes only the frames Instagram returns to logged-out viewers. A full /stories/highlights/… album may not unpack as one ZIP. When that happens, paste a direct public story media URL for the frame you need.

Is this the same as the Instagram story downloader?

Can I download private or close-friends highlights?

No. Private and close-friends content stays locked. InstagramFetch does not log in or bypass Instagram privacy.

Will the account see that I viewed their highlight?

No Instagram login is used, so this does not add your account to a viewer list. It does not hide your network from Instagram’s CDN.

What link should I paste?

Prefer a public /stories/highlights/… link or a public /stories/username/id/ media URL. Do not paste a Reel, /p/ photo, or profile URL here — those belong on their own downloaders or the Instagram Downloader hub.
